![]() But putting countless hours into something doesnt mean it should be purchased, its a product that would need to attract everyone commercially and I'm simply saying that this game needs an editor and requires a UI update. It also would mean it is indeed something very personal to the developers hearts. I have no dobut that 1000's of hours have been put in to improve the match engine and I'm sure that in itself is far far better. Right now it seems as if Childish Things is taking advantage of a lack of serious competition in this niche space. The gameplay and match engine have improved a little over the years, but not enough to warrant a purchase year after year and frankly most of the changes should have been included all along. A database update that everyone seems to think is no work has over 1,000 man hours and countless more automated hours behind it. Surely improvements to the match engine / fixtures and all the non visual sides of a mangement game are far more important.Īs I said personal response as glib comments like no changes to the graphics means no changes to the game really annoy me. If all you perceive as changes is graphics then I think you need to re-evaluate what type of game you want. ![]() Playing a cover drive doesn't change from 2017 to 2018. So because the animations don't change every version and UI changes are more tinkering so you don't have to re-learn how to play the game every year you ignore the literally 100s of changes made to improve match engine alone. ![]() Originally posted by Tortyfoo:Note this is a personal response and does not reflect opinions of Childish Things. ![]()
